The Riga Floral Stripe Bone Inlay Media Console explores the contrast between disciplined linear geometry and delicate botanical ornamentation. Inspired by Art Deco stripes and decorative textile traditions, its blue and ivory composition introduces a contemporary interpretation of traditional bone inlay techniques.
Narrow, individually cut bone strips form continuous vertical stripes across the four doors, surrounding framework and top surface. Delicate flowering branches are interspersed throughout the composition, with curved stems and small blossoms creating an organic interruption within the structured linear arrangement.
Four doors provide concealed storage within a clean rectangular cabinet. The uninterrupted striped pattern visually connects the individual panels, while circular brass-finished knobs introduce subtle metallic accents without disrupting the decorative composition.
Slender, tapered brass-finished metal legs elevate the console, adding a mid-century influence to its contemporary silhouette. Individually made by skilled artisans, the piece combines intricate surface detailing with practical storage for modern living spaces.
