The French Bombay Style Arabesque Bone Inlay Chest brings together the sculptural elegance of French furniture and the intricate decorative tradition of bone inlay. Its soft grey background provides a sophisticated canvas for delicate ivory floral patterns, creating a timeless composition.
Inspired by traditional French Bombay chests, the design features gracefully curved sides, outward-sweeping legs and a subtly scalloped lower apron. The projecting tabletop and gently contoured silhouette lend architectural character to its distinctive form.
Three generously proportioned drawers feature symmetrical botanical compositions, with flowing vines, delicate foliage and floral motifs framed by geometric borders. The intricate bone inlay continues across the curved side panels, apron and tabletop, creating a continuous decorative surface.
