The Arabesque Mother of Pearl Inlay Three-Drawer Console Table explores the delicate relationship between botanical ornamentation and architectural simplicity. Inspired by the flowing floral compositions of Mughal decorative arts, its intricate surface celebrates the expressive qualities of natural mother of pearl within a restrained contemporary silhouette.
Individually cut pieces of mother of pearl form an elaborate arrangement of scrolling vines, flowering branches and delicate leaves across the three drawer fronts. Set against a soft white background, the iridescent inlay introduces subtle variations of colour and luminosity. Small diamond-shaped motifs frame each drawer, while botanical detailing continues along the rectangular legs and tabletop.
