The Arabesque Mother of Pearl Inlay Console Table explores the ornamental richness of botanical patterns through an intricate composition of scrolling vines, delicate foliage and floral motifs. Inspired by the decorative traditions of Mughal art and architecture, its expressive surface brings historical ornamentation into a contemporary furniture silhouette.
Individually cut pieces of natural mother of pearl are arranged against a deep black background, creating an intricate network of intertwining branches and flowering forms. The iridescent material reflects subtle variations of light, lending movement and depth to the composition. Geometric borders and delicate floral detailing frame each drawer, while the botanical pattern continues across the surrounding structure and vertical legs.
