The coffee table has several patterns, including spider webs on the top surface and box patterns on the sides, adding depth and mastery to the piece.

The spider web pattern on the top surface creates a mesmerizing focal point, drawing the eye and adding a touch of intrigue to the table. Meanwhile, the box patterns on the sides provide visual interest from multiple angles, enhancing the overall dynamic appeal of the table.

The use of bone inlay for these intricate patterns not only showcases the skill and artistry of the craftsmen involved but also adds a luxurious touch to the piece. The natural variations in the bone create a sense of texture and depth, further enhancing the illusion effect.

The addition of hammered brass sheet at the base of the Octave bone inlay coffee table is a stroke of brilliance. Brass brings warmth and richness to the design, complementing the natural hues of the bone inlay patterns beautifully. The hammered texture adds visual interest and depth, creating a sense of character and sophistication.

  • An inlay is a technique of inserting pieces of contrasting material into depressions made on a base object. The production of bone inlay furniture is a three-step process and requires up to a month to create. First, the fragments of camel bones are shaped delicately. Then these intricate shapes are affixed onto the timber frame in a detailed pattern. After this, the resin is filled around the bone shapes to craft the background. The bone pieces are offset by the striking color of the resin to create an exotic looking oriental piece of furniture.

"The cabinet is beautiful! Like other reviewers, I was hesitant to purchase a piece this pricey online, but it went as smoothly as it could. Shipment was very quick for overseas custom pieces."
