The Veyra Rainbow Inlay Four-Drawer Chest introduces a playful interpretation of traditional inlay furniture, combining vibrant colours, contrasting patterns and architectural detailing within a compact rectangular silhouette.
The upper drawers feature continuous chevron patterns formed from individually cut bone strips arranged in alternating diagonal directions. Mustard yellow and coral red create distinct compositions, while the wider central drawer introduces the same repeating V-shaped geometry against a rich green background.
The lower drawer contrasts with the linear arrangement through an intricate botanical composition. Symmetrical scrolling vines, elongated leaves and stylised blossoms are framed by double rectangular borders against a vivid pink surface.
A blue framework unifies the contrasting patterns through repeating diamond-shaped bone inserts along the vertical edges, drawer divisions and lower apron. Decorative flower-shaped knobs and stepped corner detailing complete the design, combining traditional bone inlay techniques with a contemporary approach to colour and ornamentation.
