The Tantu Four Door Sideboard explores the relationship between natural materials and woven textures through a refined, architectural form. Handwoven jute fibres are carefully interlaced across four wooden door panels, creating a rhythmic geometric composition that introduces warmth, depth and a distinctive tactile character.
The natural grain and warm tones of the wooden frame complement the earthy texture of the jute, while understated black metal knobs introduce a subtle contemporary contrast. A slender black metal base elevates the cabinet, giving its elongated silhouette a sense of visual lightness while preserving the richness of its materials.
Designed with four doors opening into two separate storage compartments, each fitted with an interior shelf, the sideboard provides generous concealed storage for tableware, linens and everyday essentials. Its balanced proportions allow it to function equally well as a dining room buffet, living room credenza or storage cabinet.
Each sideboard is individually made by skilled artisans, with particular attention to the woven surfaces and wooden construction. Natural variations in the jute fibres, wood grain and weaving pattern are inherent to the making process, giving every piece its own individual character.
